I have been promising Brooke from Ultimate Arena and Leslie from X-Fire that I would talk about this cool team-up. For those of you don't know about X-Fire here is a brief description of it.Xfire is a small download which lives on your desktop. When your friends are online you are notified and it also lets you know which games they are playing - be it Counter-Stike or Everquest. You can then click onto that game to be connected in as little as one or two clicks as opposed to having to search through hundreds of game servers. Xfire also has an IM feature which allows gamers to talk to each other while playing online whereas other IM's usually crash your system if playing a game.As always we like it when the little guys start winning. X-Fire seems to be catching on nicely and I hope to have time to check it out very soon. |
