I know young Fin lass who was going to teach me some Finnish. She had to return to Finland before I could learn anything. I guess you could say my lessons never got Finnished!  |

1. dutch is like german, car = auto and in german it is auto to.. its pretyt muhc alike. tho i hate german, and suck at it..
2. lol, finnish.. never spoken it or heared it being spoken.. but i do heared some swedish, and denmarks.

I'll have to check it out. For whatever reason I've always been drawn to the German Language, even though I think it sounds ugly. I think that Italian is one of the more beautiful languages.
English and german have lots of similar-sounding words as well. Though the grammar is very different and there are some very different sounds.
Luckily there are a lot of Germans who speak English. I've known 3-4 Germans but haven't really had much chance to learn the language from them. Best was Carolin, but I didn't even really start learning till she moved back to Germany. Anu showed me some Finnish, but that is one screwed up language!! Then Anke, German again. Then Annika, German again.
Really should have taken the opportunity to get some pointers. I guess.
One phrase that I figured would come in handy was: Ein Glas Bier, bitte!
and the every popular: Wiederholen, Sie, etwas langsamer bitte.
Something like that. |

Yeah, I got lucky cause girls just happen to live with our daycare providers as exchange students. And, I think that other countries only send their hottest chicks over here to go to school. Yowsa!
Unfortunately I'm married I mean too bad I'm happily married. I mean I'm happily married so. well, whatever.
Yeah, I agree that German is not the best language, but for some reason I still want to learn it. I just never have the time to study and it would be very nice if I actually knew someone who spoke it naturally so I could get the best practice. Also there are different dialects in Germany so one person says "say it this way" and another says, "no, say it this way"
I can listen to the Internet radio and at least get used to hearing it spoken. That helps.

Yes, Britney is hot. But so far all of the Exchange students I've been around from Germany have been pretty hot too. And the one from Finland wasn't too shabby either. Then again, I'm getting older so the percentage of hot girls increases every day.
Personally, Im a big fan of Natalie Portman. Britney is hot, but Natalie is too and she isn't slutty (IMPO). If she were a commanding officer I'd gladly be willing to server under her.
