New Player Models/Skins

Oh jeez, I didn't realize there were two.

Well, it won't hurt to try both!

As far as online, you will appear as a default character. Probably a male Merc or something (I'm not familiar with the character names in the game. I just used the same one forever.)

However, if you have special dealings with the server host, you may be able to get them to load the skin onto the server and it will be uploaded automatically to each player who joins.

Obviously this is a better deal to those who frequent the same server all the time, and not such a great deal if the server hosts a large number of strangers. The reason being that downloading some of this stuff can take some time and lots of people are too impatient to let it donwload. On the other hand, once you download it, you will always have it.

I looked for some other skins, but didn't have much luck. Skincity seems to be the best place I've found for UT skins. There are LOTS more than I mentioned too. I just mentioned the few that looked the most interesting to myself. I'm not a big fan of the usual Humanoid model. I look for something clever or different.

I may have to figure out how to get Homer skinned to work in UT2004 myself. Once the full game ships I think most of the tools are included in the game. Just need to take time to learn them.

i instaled one, it prety nice, tho no sound packs or anything.
i uninstaled it again now, couse it doesnt realy work well with vehicles and all.
but its cool to know its posible.

Some of the models (like most of them for UT2003) don't sit in the vehicles properly. I'll use them anyway cause it looks like they're driving while standing up. Plus the vehicles still drive around fine so no worries.

Master Chief, from Halo, is out there on Skincity and he actually does sit down properly. I think that someone will have to re-visit these models and modify the them to be able to sit down.

Oh, BTW - I tried the other Homer and he does work, so I'm good to go. He's the one that looks more like a drawing than the 3D version, but what the hey...

I just meant that evey time I see one of your posts, I get a little bit excited Embarassed

I like Natalie Portman quite a bit too and they are very much alike. almost like twins! Mmmmmm........Twins........

Actually I prefer Treet... It's like Spam, but much cheaper! It's for the poor people who can't spend the extra 40 Cents for a can of the real stuff! (Tastes the same to me.)

actually cheetah, your not far off from what we do eat...

fast food is the fattiest food. and americans eat more fast food than any other people (i think)
