I am happy to announce several cool things about the contest. First of all when we had the wallpaper contest in 2003 the response was good. Well the response to this contest was amazing there were so many cool entries to choose from. I want to take this time to say thank to EVERY single person that entered. As an artist I know that is a pain to work with a deadline sometimes. I really do appreciate the time that was spent on these designs.
The contest came down to four entries: Lehm, Sgt. Skinner, Kahoona and Modesty. It was even harder because some of them had sent in some with last minute changes. However in the end I choose the one that I felt would be represent the website. Here is the winning entry.

The original piece of art comes to us from Modesty B who resides here in Michigan! I also want to announce a suprise winner. FineWolf had a saying in one of his submissions that just was too cool not to use.

Congrats to modesty! Excellent work man! I'm very happy that at least my design was considered.  I had fun. Also, thanks to all those that either entered and/or gave feedback. There were some nice designs submitted for sure.

nice. it doesnt even feel weird.. it feels like that pic should be unreal expo.. not something else..
congrats modesty, and wolf to.
still think that "when reality just isnt enough" is better.. but who am i do judge.. 
tycho: it wasnt a wallpaper contest, but a photoshop this contest, you had to edit the clify photo.. i know my entrys where wallpaper quality tho  |

The Photoshop contest was last fall. I am talking about the Wallpaper contest that we had before you knew about us. =) |

Thank you! Most of the logo was created in Photoshop; the character and her rifle were drawn on paper and then inked and scanned in, added to the rest of the graphic and then colored in PS. |
