A very early good morning to all. News is going to be a little sporadic today as it is my girlfriend's 25th birthday. I have some news that I am going to post now and some UO exclusive stuff that I am going to post later this afternoon. In the meantime I wanted to know what everyone's thoughts on the Dark Sector teaser are. |

Teaser was cool but i think that the "big brother of UT" isn`t anylonger the big brother. seems to get a singleplayer game, aye? |

Im just wondering whether that trailer was actually rendered in realtime by the in-game engine. Most people on the forums that I frequent reckon thats its definately pre-rendered CG.  |

but IIRC it said somewhere that it was in-game ... which shouldn't be much of a suprise given todays engines.
Just look at current UT'04-maps (or any other modern game) ... they look like the 'pre-rendered' graphics we had ages ago.
/me thinks that with a few tweaks any modern engine can look as good as 'pre-rendered' graphics used to look. |

The game "looks good" but that isn't my focus. Personally the idea's they had put forth about the mp action in the game is what has my interest. |
