Man, there's a lot comin down the pipe soon. Looks like Hitman: Contracts and Manhunt are gonna be out on the 20th. I can't even keep up with every thing. However, I decided to open up my news day with a discussion topic - what game aside from the Big Three (Tribes: Vengeance, Doom III, HL2) are you looking forward to? |

What titles I´m looking forward to hmm.. The list is long but here is a few: Men of Valor (MOHAA was a great game and when you use the Unreal engine with those guys to make a Vietnam game instead , well what can you say ), Black 9 (this game seams to offer alot of cool stuff and it also uses the Unreal engine), Advent Rising (this action adventure is looking to be a awesome adventure), Vampire the masquerade: Bloodlines (White Wolf´s World of Darkness is really cool and I hope this title can offer some good stuff from the Roleplaying game), KillZone (this FPS PS2 title is looking great and I hope it can live up to it), Psychotoxic (this seams to offer some really crazy stuff, old style, comic style, horror style, ....look at my interview and you see what I mean).
I could go on and on, there are alot of cool titles being done !!

We´ll I don´t meant that I´ll buy all of those, I wish though, but hopefully we will get demos for them so you can check them out. Well depending on how long between releases and if they seam to be as god as they are looking today I might actually buy them all if I have the money at the time.

I wasn't even aware the next Tribes was a Big one . Haven't heard anyone ranting about it thus far, other than the occasional screenies here at UnrealOps.
Doom 3 will kick ass because it's ripping off Aliens vs Predator (the game). As there's no AvP3 in the pipeline, that doesn't bother me- quite the opposite. Half-Life 2 will be a disappointment. Full stop.
My most anticipated games, by far, are Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines (and I'm almost entirely a FPS fan, so that's a real sign of its quality) and STALKER. Of course, if Brian Reynolds/Sid Meier decide to announce a sequel to Alpha Centauri, everything else will have to take a back seat . |
