CHeetah, if you haven't resolved your problem yet, you may want to try out the Futuremark Forums. Those guys are usually very good with running 3DMarks.'
Also, do some digging on which BIOS version and Driver set you are using on your MOBO. Some of them may cause problems with some software, including 3DMarks.
Frankly, I think your rig should be able to crank up the score a bit and run without a hitch.
