Having visual problems with some maps

first of all, I am no mapper, so i hope you don't mind if i say anything odd here...

My problem is with the visual part of certain maps: i'm seeing the default texture (the bubbles one) instead of that cool texture that should be in that place, here is a list of the maps that i've noticed this:
CTF-Orodruin = The skybox cube, upper face.
CTF-Gazpacho = same as above.
ONS-EvilMood = Same as above.
DM-Summit = On some pillars that supports the side bases.
there is one more map, but i dont remember now but i think these ones are enough.

I've already tried to download and install the maps again, and it didn't worked.

ehrm.. did you instal the textures etc to?
maybe its your computer.. i dont know.

Okay, I'd make sure you installed the latest patch.... if that doesn't work, then do a virgin install (i.e. remove it totally, delete root dir reinstall the game.) and then path and install CBP2.
If that doesn't work, let me know here.

maybe is my videocard? it's a Geforce4 MX400 128Mb with AGP8x

1) My fiancee`'s on a GF4MX and not having any problems, so it's not necessarily that.

2) Virgin installs are actually a pretty common term, because most people who simply "reinstall" don't actually delete all the settings out of the registry or go thru the deleteing of the previous folder they were installed into. So there actually is a difference.

And no, Cheetah - there was nothing sexual between us at the moment I was typing that. She just wanted me to get off the forums so she could play Painkiller, and I wanted to finish typing.. so she started to tickle me. Alas, I would not be deterred from helping a UT Fan, and I finished my post with an apology for any mistakes made in my typing.
I happen to be one of those people who prefers to type VERY well rather than make typos and spend time correcting them.

is painkiller good? iv never played it, but i heared its not that good.

Painkiller is good... the storyline is a bit lacking. There's attempts at there actually being one... but... eh, I digress. It's very fun. I'd recommend playing it.

Captain Hook - my next suggestion is to update your drivers. First, run windows update to make sure that you're not missing anything old and important, then go to Nvidia.com and download the latest drivers.

Are you sure your trying to install the CBP2 on UT2k4??? and not UT2k3??? just for kicks, i tried that and i was getting the same errors as you...
