Sorry, but how do you install the bonus pack on OSX?

Double clicking does not work.

I tried copying the file CBP2_Volume1.ut4mod into my ~/library/application support/Unreal Tournament 2004 and also into the system folder in this folder, no luck!

I also cant find anywhere in the package where it should seem to go.

Thanks

BeyondUnreal made a great newspost here: http://www.beyondunreal.com/daedalus/singlepost.php?id=5827

...about tools for Mac users.
One of the tools is a .ut2mod extractor.

Ok, for any other mac users out there.

Dont download the CBP2 voll 1 file that appears in the unreal comunity section, you cant use it, well you may be able to but I dont know how so I think its more hastle than its worth!

Go to http://www.planetunreal.com/cbp/index.htm and download the zip version NOT the self extracting installer (doh another big download, i hope you have broadband), unzip it and go to the library in your home directory ~/library/application support/unreal 2004/

put all the files in here unless the file already exists, in which case put the contents of the pack file into the existing file in the library.

Remember this makes the files available to whoever logs in as that user, if more people use your machine and want CBP2 meaty action you will need to either put the files into their library or experiment with the userwide library or put them into the UT package.

Lots of other posts probably explain the installation process better, the important thing is getting the zip file without the self extracting installer.

Thanks for the info about the OSX tools. Now i just need to figuure out what they actually do.

This little utility will allow you to extract and/or install umod files on Mac OS X. You may need the BSD Subsystem installed, though (it's on your official OS X CD, optional package).

When trying to extract, make sure there are no spaces in the actual umod file name and its parent folder. Just remove the spaces and you should be fine.
