Some of you probably dislike AlienWare. They got high performance computing, and made it so that you could have an awesome looking PC without having to build it yourself. I, however, happen to love the company, as my current PC (an old Area-51) is by them, and I like to share some of their latest breakthroughs on here.
A while back, I revealed some cool new AlienWare stuff, from the Video Array to the mysterious ALX. Well, the mysterious ALX is no longer mysterious - doing a run through on the site yesterday, I saw a link to this page, which gives details, pictures, and links on the ALX system line. So far, there's only 1 computer, the ALX Aurora, but these things look awesome - from support for the newest chips (AMD Athlon 64 FX-53+) to very awesome liquid cooling, they're really nifty. Hopefully as the new chipsets and motherboards come out, these current rigs will drop in price and we'll see more of these beautiful machines - possibly even one that utilizes the mythical Video Array?
Rest assured, no matter what the outcome, I'll have the news for you. |
