Good morning all of you out there in Internetland. I have to split the news up into two parts today because I have to get up real early to do a food inventory at work. However I did find some very cool pics of a movie I am very much looking forward to next year.

Who is that masked man? Why a young Batman of course. Not a whole lot about this project other than it is a prequel to the other four. Find out more here.

It's not a prequel, it's the kick of of a new series.
and there were 4 movies in the last, not 3

You are correct there were 4. Sorry about the typo on that one. As far as a prequel goes, I meant it is supposed to be about Batman before the other movies took place.

It's been a while, but I thought the first movie covered his early days. Was that just a flashback?

I watched the first one and then quit. It was too ridiculous for me. I mean, Batman unloads his entire Batwing at Joker and misses, then Joker shoots him down with a Pistol. Ok, so it was a really big pistol, but jeez.

I wish they would have made a :Batman, the Dark Knight movie. Co-starring Kiera Knightly of course! (She would have been too young back then, but they can still do that now!)

I think it's rather interesting that they cast Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne / Batman... the last movie that I saw with him in a leading role was "American Psycho", a very disturbing (but good) examination of the materialism and image based society that was largely prominent in major cities of the American 1980's.

A friend of mine collected comics and I'm almost positive that there were a couple of different kinds of Batman comics, just like Spiderman had different ones.

The Dark Knight line was more, uh, Dark, than the old style, which were a bit lighter in nature. The Dark Knight was not above killing the bad guys and the comic was generally more sinister and violent.

I could be way off on this. I'm not an expert in comics by a long shot, but the old "BIF", "BAM", KAPOWEE! Batman never really appealed to me.

BUt, I agree that Kiera would make a great "Cat" woman. Substitute to your own perverted heart's content.
