I was searching for some new blood maps to add to the usual standard UT2K4 maps on the Atari forums. Well I came across a very distinctive map named DM-Dowtown. Now this map isn’t going to win any awards on beauty or flow but what is does have are destructible environments. This is the one of the major selling points of the military shooter Soldner and Microsoft’s Mechassault. I am very glad this feature has made its way to the Unreal scene. Downtown is basically a small city where all the buildings and bridges are fully destructible. The longer you play the less cover you will have. If you have ever played Mechassault’s Riverside this level will make you feel right at home. The author, Michael Bellipanni, is also known for his work on DM-Coliseum and DM-Furnace. It's nice to see my work is getting around. I'm glad that you enjoy the level. Keep your head in the inreal forums becuase I'm about to realease a new map.
