So after doing some research on MMORPG to comment on our recent poll I stumbled across a cool article. It is a showcase on the upcoming LOTR game called Battle For Middle Earth. I am not a big fan of RPG's but this game may change my mind. An RPG that has the graphics of a FPS definitely peaked my interest and it also got me thinking. What not an Unreal Universe MMORPG? I mean could you imagine being able to have a cool battle with hundreds of Skaarj attacking a human outpost? Or a Necris city being invaded by a Robot army? Obviously it isn't going to happen but it is a cool thought none the less. |

btw .. battle for middle earth is a RTS, not a MMORPG ... Middle Earth On-line was their proposed MMORPG, and I think it's tied up in legal rights. |

I will take a MMOFPS from Epic but RPGS, level grinds, are too boring for me. I like playing games where skill is the deciding factor over time played. So no EQ2 or WOW for me. |

yeah a MMOFPS set in the unreal universe would kick ass. Did you ever read the books? Those would be cool settings for an area (or planet) in the game. I don't want it to be dumb like Planetside where you have to get skill points and then spend it on learning weapons and vehicles. just give me the vehicles! |
