Now I know we here at UO are an Unreal Engine site but sometimes you just have to make exceptions. FarCry, the best single player shooter I have played this year, has been updated to version 1.2. They added a quick save function for single player missions ,which was needed, however I believe this function is still being worked on. Multiplayer weapon parameters were also adjusted:

All weapons – Increase accuracy while standing still by 25%
Made the medic packs give 50% more health for the engineer class
Reduced rocket launcher clip to 1, no change to lethality.
Increased MP5 damage by 30% with full auto, 50% increase with semi-automatic
Adjusted AG36 damage to head and torso.
Reduced AG36 grenade radius.
Increased OICW accuracy by 30% when zoomed.
Reduced OICW grenade clip to 3 with max carry of 3 in the gun and 3 in reserve
Increased Pancor damage slightly
Reduced P90 damage by 10% and reduced max range by 25%
Increased lethality of mounted weapons. |
To be honest I am not too crazy about FarCry’s multiplayer. I guess I am used to the near perfect UT2004 balance because some weapons in FC seem cheap to me. Either way the single player game is worth the price of admission for me. You can grab the file and update your copy of FarCry courtesy of 3DGamers and you can find the full changelog here. |

Ubi recalled this patch and I had really bad luck with it. So download at your own risk. |
