Well, I'm actually at my girlfriend's house right now, and on a Dell that doesn't even have an AGP slot... however, I was just informed by a friend of mine back home that my Doom3 pre-order is at my house, and I intend to play the game until my hands bleed when I get back on Sunday. Look forward to a bunch of screenshots and a review, people. Also, if you have it, let us know what you think of it in our forums. w00t. |

i already did 24 hours ago.. your living in the past, doom 3 is already old 
nah, j/k.
anyone know a cure for me? the game is so scary, and i am affraid to play on..? what do i do? turn brightness up more? |

iv only played it at night.. since i had to wark at day time.. iv only played it after midnight.. now i think of it.. it scares me..  |

Is doom3 worth buying,none of my friends have it,and a lot of people on the INA forums are saying its poor.Is it really more like resident evil in a fps than the original game? |

It really depends on what you want. If you want to play a game closer to the orginional Doom, large assaults of mindless enemies, then you would probably like Painkiller better. The reason I wanted DIII was to play a beautiful horror game, which it is. I love the pitch black effect and having to use the flashlight as your only light source makes every corner suspensful. I have not finished DIII but from what I have played I am impressed. However if you only get 50 dollars every six months to spend on games, which would probably means you don't have a DX9 card or a system to run DIII, I would probably suggest Painkiller. Also check out the game reviews at Gamespot, Telefragged, Gamershell, ect.
Edit BTW I prefer DIII to Painkiller and almost every single player FPS released this year. FarCry is the only single player FPS I consider to be better. My opinion may change, however , when I finish more levels of DIII and may prefer it. |

i wont buy it couse its not my kind of game.. to scary.. to much SP.. to dark.. i am at level 3 i think now.. il see how far il play.. iv never died tho..  |

Cheetah - wait till you have to deal with hordes of Lost Souls and those little spider bastards... and do so after you've wasted all your ammo and health on trying to take cool screenshots for a review  |

I hate, in a good way, the sounds the spider heads make. The game definitely picks up when they first appear. Overall the most disturbing enemy, to me so far, are the Cherubs. Man they freak me out! |
