driver update = speed boost
when i update drivers i just go to the nvidia site and dl their executable file and run it. that should take care of your update process |

For the most part. I like to use driver cleaner first to clean off the old nvidia drives (as nvidia suggests)
http://www.driverheaven.net/cleaner/
Be sure to read the directions VERY carefully when doing this at your own risk. I'd do a system backup and set a restore point first as well.
If you aren't comfortable using this then don't. I wasn't either at first but I went on their forums and read up a lot on it first and made sure I knew exactly (for the most part) what I was doing before I used it. It's a very powerful piece of software and very useful. |

I've never had any problems updating an nvidia card. Only from going from nvidia to ATI and the other way. |

hope doom3 is better now to.
no problems yet, exept i still cant get my dual monitors trough S-video cable working,... its black and white...
see my upcoming thread for that.

nope.. i treyd almost everything.. i know that a video can only play on 1 monitor at a time, so i got that to work on the TV.. but black and white.. i guess i should only go and watch black and white movies then..
anyone know some real good old movies? |

Paper moon is a good old movie, but maybe not your style.
Also, dont' bother watching Pr0n in black and white. it makes it look too artsy, whixh kinda spoils the whole mood.
Check out Young Frankenstein, it's a mel Brooks film in black and white. I think he also had another one in black and white, but I can't remember the name. |
