w00t w00t! I've been way too overloaded lately to post news, but at G4TechTV's G-Phoria, the gaming awards show, our main man CliffyB was there to give running commentary AND to take home the Multiplayer Game Of The Year award. Check it out here. I'd give a picture link, but I don't want to be accused of stealing bandwidth.
Actually, they're a huge site, so they can afford it.

Hopefully someone on the UnrealOps staff will put that on our FTP ... I've been having some issues getting on to upload files, and no one else is online at the moment.
Well, ignoring that, I want to give a congratulations to Epic Games and Cliff Bleszinski. Oh, and while I'm at it, everyone go go check out his site. It's pretty damn cool - I love reading blogs of cool people.
And, uh... yes, I do eventually want a job at Epic.
*EDIT* It's come to my attention that the tagboard at Cliffy's site has been hijacked by a bunch of immature pricks, so until Cliff gets that all under control, I'm gonna advise people to disregard the comments on the right of that blog - including ones that look like they're coming from me. I'm not homosexual, nor do I find Cliffy sexually attractive in any manner. Hopefully that will clarify any misgivings from reading that unfortunate trainwreck of a comment space. |
