The Red Orchestra Development Team is excited to announce an agreement with Epic Games, Inc. for the inclusion of the Red Orchestra mod in the upcoming Unreal Tournament 2004: Editor’s Choice Edition. Atari and Epic Games have announced that Unreal Tournament 2004: Editor's Choice Edition will be available this fall. The Editor's Choice Edition brings new maps for fan-favorite onslaught mode, new vehicles and new characters as well as the best community-made game mods from the worldwide unreal community.
Red Orchestra is the standard setting FPS realism game set on the epic landscapes of the WW II Eastern Front and is the all time most played total conversion for Unreal Tournament 2004. The game was built by an international team dedicated to creating the most realistic, most immersive, and best playing realistic warfare game possible. Red Orchestra is a two-time Make Something Unreal Contest best FPS mod winner, best sound winner, and had several of its maps place as runner ups in the respective mapping categories. Red Orchestra is also the first Unreal Tournament 2004 mod to achieve enough status to be officially supported by the chat program Xfire (www.xfire.com).
Even more exciting: Red Orchestra 3.0: Combined Arms is on schedule for a general release to the public for download on August 27th. Combined Arms introduces some of the most compelling new content yet! In addition to stunning new level designs, new and modified animations, an overhaul of all previous weapons and new weapons built to Red Orchestra's unmatched standards; Red Orchestra 3.0: Combined Arms will bring unprecedented new features and realism from the Eastern Front right into your home as never seen before.
And what better way to celebrate such good news then with new media, and another new map! RO-Karlovka created by Original9 |
I wish to cogradulate the RO team for making it into the Editors choice ver of 2k4. I havent had the chance to try out the latest version of their mod but the last ver I tried was extremely kick-ass. Now enjoy the above screenies untill I get back from work! |
