While I begin to get aquainted with my dorm here at UGA, I encourage you to go check out the Free Monkey Interactive website that has details (and screenies) of their upcoming UTXMP, which they describe as "a total conversion that brings popular XMP gameplay to Epic Games' Unreal Tournament 2004 with the support of former Legend Entertainment employees." w00t w00t w00t! It is XMP. But instead of using Unreal II to play it, it uses UT04 to play it. It is XMP for UT04. It is a mod. Similar to Chaos UT, etc. You need UT04 to play it. Understand now?
