Well before I leave you I thought I would share some cool things I found when I finally had time to catch up on Unreal Community news this past week. It seems as though a very old INA forumer Grimlock has come across some very cool animated gifs of the Unreal Engine 3.0 in action. Now not only are the pics cool but some of the ideas being tossed around in that thread as well. After reading over it and taking a look at some of the older tech videos, I have to agree with the notion that Unreal Warfare isn't dead, it just isn't what we thought it was.

It looks as though Epic is going to expand on the original ideas and characters first seen in the Tech Demo from 2000. Taking this as a starting point and combining it with such things as the Canyon Flyby and the Tech Demo from 2002 and merging it with present day technology you start to get a picture of what to expect. So far I see it as this, a game that is set in a new non-Unreal universe (this part is known) and giving it the flow, feel and movement of an Unreal game (speculaing but UE movement is stil the best out there IMO). Put all of that together and you get a futuristic game of Jurassic Park meets Unreal Tournament.

Well who knows exactly what it will be but if the new Tech Demos are any indication the game is going to be pretty kick ass. What do you think it will be?
