Need i say more than: "BOUT TIME!!!"
Full announcement is located over here. I guess it will be out in time for the Nov 9th deadline afterall! I'm soo glad I preordered the SE. I dont wanna have to wait in line for it!
I'm ready for some good old Master Cheif fraggin! I might even fire up Halo tonight just to get prepaired! By the way, if you havent read the Halo books yet, I highly suggest you do. They fill in a TON of information dealing with the beginning of the halo story, and the Spartan program, and with what leads up to Halo 2 (like how they found earth). Definately a good read! |

The December issue of EGM previews Halo 2 and by that preview it sounds like Bungie has evolved the franchise significantly. Along with Xbox live support they are also supporting clans up to 100 members. I haven't used v3.0 of Xbox Live but combined with Halo 2 it will be a lot easier to keep track of clan mates and I believe they will also be ranking clans as well as individual rankings. Clan mates can also wear the same emblem/
The addition of medals with also be interesting. I like any type of customization that identifies your play style. EGM gave the examples of:
Running Riot (A guy with the most kills in a row gets this star)
Melee Kill
Stealth Kill (behind the back)
Grenade Stack
There are other medals for sniping, vehicle kills, and anything cool you do
These features along with others should make this the console game of the year. I can't freakin wait! |
