ATI has released the newest version of their CATALYST drivers for Windows XP. First off ATI recommends that you have service pack 2 installed before you install the CATALYST 4.10. This version improves performance for most modern ATI cards and resolves many non-Unreal game issues.
I haven't tried these out but if they are anything live the 4.9s I will be satisfied. Sorry to all the Nvidia owners out there. I have been neglecting Nvidia driver updates since I don't own that brand of card anymore. I will try to update you more often.
ATI owners can download the drivers here. |

These drivers are for Windows XP ...
Win2k is still at Cat 4.9, so we've got to wait a little. |

When ATI releases the other 4.10s I will try to update this post. |

I tried the 'XP'-set and it worked.
They're +/- 200 points slower then the 4.11 beta hotfix in 3dMark.
I guess the set is in reality for both XP & Win2k (hence the name), but someone forgot to update their site.
I still would suggest avoiding updating until Ati officially confirms that Win2k-drivers are updated. |
