ActionTrip is reporting a press release by PC Gamer claiming that Half Life 2 is the best thing since sliced bread.

i hate bread.. sliced or not sliced.. its disgusting...
and a month ago doom3 was the best game ever, now HL2... stop changing it all the time! |

I am still pulling for Halo 2 being the best FPS this year but I may be wrong. HL2 may have the best single player story but I doubt HackerStrike will be better than Halo 2's multiplayer. Either way gamers are going to have some great games to play this fall. |

and PS2 owners can play GTA:SA.. lucky basterds.. i have to wait till may, june, july next year.. |

Much as I hate PC Gamer, and despite having been highly cynical of Half-Life 2 since its original delay (and an avid disdainer of the first game), I'm inclined to agree that in every area except graphics Half-Life 2 does look like it's going to be a knockout.
That's not going to inspire me to play Counter-Strike though. |

question:
whats the best game ever? offcialy, what game sold the most copys?
the sims?
im not talking about MP stats.
o btw, GTA:SA is gonna break every record, it got a 9.6 rating on Gamespot, and a 9.9 rating on IGN. |

I am about half temted to buy San Andres but I need to save my money for Halo 2. |

no way!! dont buy HALO2. its like crap compared to San Andreas..
man.. you dont even have to think about wich game to buy if you got to choise of those two.. drop halo2. buy GTA:SA!!! |

Let me see I can spend 50 bucks on a single player game or spend 50 bucks on a equally engaging, to me, single player game with multiplayer. Sorry I am getting Halo 2. I loved the first and I figure I will love the 2nd Halo. |

Jk I will play it but I will not buy SA until it hits the PC. I hate playing games on the PS2. However, I will rent the PS2 version soon. I will tell you how it is.  |

If "the best" was judged by how much money they make, The Matrix Reloaded would be the best movie of all time, instead of its actual title of one of the most disappointing movies of all time. Max Payne 2 remains the best game I've ever played and Donnie Darko remains the best film I've ever seen; both were disappointments to those who made them in terms of profit, but in my eyes both are superior to everything else by a country mile. |
