GROOVE GAMES BRINGS OUT THE BIG GUNS FOR PARIAH AND HIRES HOLLYWOOD CREATIVE POWERHOUSE MOJO!

Movie Trailer Phenoms To Produce Four Action-Packed Trailers Showing Off Digital Extremes' newest First Person Shooter

TORONTO - October 27, 2004 - Groove Games, a global interactive entertainment software publisher, today revealed a portion of their marketing plans for the new highly anticipated first-person shooter from Digital Extremes. Pariah, awarded Biggest Surprise at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) by IGN.com, will get star treatment from award-winning motion picture marketing production house, Mojo LLC. The first of a series of theatrical-style trailers showing off Pariah's action-packed gameplay and immersive storyline is planned for release online worldwide October 29th.

Known for creating movie trailers for some of Hollywood's biggest blockbusters including The Matrix, T3, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, The Last Samurai, Troy, xXx and many more, Mojo LLC is lending their theatrical expertise to help communicate what gamers will experience when Pariah hits store shelves in March 2005 on the Xbox® video game system from Microsoft and PC.

"After seeing Mojo's work on some of the most memorable movie trailers in Hollywood, there was no question in our minds that they were the choice to
produce a series of trailers for Pariah," said Jon Walsh, CEO of Groove Games. "Because the story is such an integral part of the experience with
Pariah we needed a method to get that across to gamers beyond the typical
laundry list of gameplay features found on the back of the box. With Mojo's expertise we can really show gamers what to expect when Pariah comes out."

"What makes a Mojo trailer unique is that we are able to convey the emotional experience of playing a game through our own distinctive method of storytelling and gameplay capture," adds Michael Kahane, Co-Owner with Jeff Lamont of Mojo LLC. "To communicate the scope and breadth of the Pariah universe, Mojo is creating four epic theatrical quality trailers that will immerse the viewer into the game well before they have a controller in hand."

Over the course of the next few months, Mojo will produce a series of trailers, four in total, which will progressively reveal intriguing bits of information on the storyline and integrated gameplay. The first trailer, planned for a global release online October 29th will be the first official public glimpse of Pariah in motion since its debut at the E3 trade show earlier this year when it was nominated for Best Shooter by 1up.com and received Biggest Surprise at E3 by IGN.com. For more information on the game and to view the trailer through one of the mirror sites on visit the newly redesigned website at www.pariahgame.com on Friday, October 29th.
I can't wait to see it and of course we will mirror it for our readers.
