EA May Be Kicked Off The Battlefield

EA Games, the big wig publisher behind the "Battlefield" series of games is apparently trying to buy the title from the developer, Digital Illusions. However, it looks like 28% of the shareholders of the former company don't want it being taken up into the dark, ugly womb of the ... I mean, they don't want DICE being bought by EA. Anyway, the whole story is here.

Despite the fact that they don't "own" them (yet) they can use similar tactics to keep them from picking a new publisher ...

ie : they may have won the battle, but they're still going to lose the war.
This is EA ... resistance is futile ... you will be forced into slavery.
