hey, if i got 2 computers, but only 1 ut2004. can i play it on both?
i mean with the serial keys etc. like the one day i wanan play on PC 1, and the other day on PC 2. will that work?
and what heapens if i play it online at PC 1, and then later at PC 2 (online). will it still work at PC 1 later?

Don't know you might want to email tech support and see what the say. I do know you couldn't play head to head with one key. |

Actually, you can - I did it with my PC and my GF's. At least, as of last time I played - just can't be on a server with key authentication. |

ah ok.
but say if i got UT2k3 and UT2004, i could play head to head on any server as long as its UT2k3.. right? couse of backward compatability? or not? |

heh. Backwards compatibility never worked out, dude. They broke the netcode with UT04. |

ah right, now i remember, indeed.. well no problem. i rememberd i also had Ut2k3.
is it legal if i buy a game, and then give it to someone else after im done playing? thats legal right? its like a gift? only a used one   |

yes you can do it...
no you cant play online at the same server
yes you can play network games (LAN)
Yes you can play games on the network when both computers are connected to the same game
yes you can play SP games
Yes your profiles should transfer (if you do a UT2004 directory copy from PC to PC)
and if you want me to show you how to do it get me on MSN sometime and then we'll voice chat.... MUCH easier that way (only need to do this if you want to do the directory copy, i think....)
i actually did that for my lan over new years, 10 people copied UT2004 from me and we had to set it up each time takes about 5 minutes |

why would you copy those to other pcs? each pc needs different settings doesnt it? |

not really
we just had to adjust the video renderer, gamma and brightness/contrast, and game deatil.... you usually have to do that anyways on a CD install |

well.. ok.. but still..
btw, nice sig, not the banner style, but the text it shows. funny
tho the rest of the sig sucks, its to big, to red and to annoying 
but i couldent make it, so i shouldent say it sucks.. but it does |
