The intro movie for Deus Ex: invisible war have been released. The intro movie sure looks cool and I´m looking forward to this game. You can find the intro movie here at filefront. |

That movie looks like it's realtime..if so the game could look a great deal better than the stills suggest. |

I thought it might be realtime at first too, but was very skeptical (sp?)
It just looks a bit too good  |

if it's the Unreal Engine I think they would use matinee and matinee can be exceptionally cool graphics cause you aren't loading much |

DX2 does use a modified version of the Unreal engine. I know they can use more polys, texture passes etc for in game scenes, and I'd expect them to use matinee, but still some of the elements look *too* good to me. The particle effects, for example. Some of the shots from the office are rendering the whole city in the background and the characters have none of the facetted silhouettes that you usually see on normal mapped character models. |
