First of all can I say wow! After a couple of months of bugging, getting shot down and bringing the subject back up again all I can say is wow and thanks Mark! The footage that all of the fans are going to get to see today is from the Game Developers Conference in 2002. This footage was intended to only be shown to perspective clients who Epic wanted to lease the Unreal Engine to.
After many discussions as to why or why not this should be shown to the fans Epic has given in a little. We don't get to see the latest GFC stuff, however, we still get to see more than we were intended to. I want everyone to realize how cool this video is and how much Epic has been changing their approach to their fanbase. The Dev team is definitely on a roll right now. So now you all have two cool videos to keep you busy until this long weekend is over. See you Tuesday! |

Looks like the video I worked on encoding for Epic is finally going to be released w00t!
All I can say is that it was very hard to not show it to anyone all this time.
Finally yay!!

Sorry, I’m a bit confused by the post. Will this new “old” video be shown on Tuesday, or is it a case of waiting until you get the links set up? |

That was very impressive. great visuals and breathtaking graphics. I really liked the ending where the soldier ripped of the arm of the warrior and beat him to death with it. |

WHich version looks better?
I got the higher res Windows version, but am wondering if the Higher res QT version will be clearer? I just hate how QT wont let yuou adjust the brightness, and everything is always too dark by default
However, if its less blurry, I will download it, but I want to make sure.
Thanks! |

I downloaded the QT movie first, then the WMV one because the QT player sucks at displaying full-screen.
But I needn’t have bothered, since the QT one is much better looking, at least twice as clear as the WMV one. |
