Sup Lug,

There will be multilanguage versions and they are trying for a simultaneous release as well.

Damn, don't they ever learn... Aren't they aware that releasing a multi-language version in Germany will get the game banned within months, like it has happened with UT2003? If the uncensored content is on the CD too, it can be accessed easily, simply setting your windows region settings to something non-German will enable users to install the uncensored English version. The glorious German censoring office (they call it youth protection btw) knows that, and they don't see such a simple protection mechanism - I mean not letting you install anything but the German version if your region is set to Germany - as sufficient.

As much as I hate having to import the game to get the English version, I still prefer being able to have local leagues and ladders.

Hmm... are they aware? Would you mind asking? Smile

Will vehicles function the third-person mode only (yuck!), or will it be possible to choose first or third views? Driving the Bulldog would rock from a first-person view...

i know that in the assult demo that i saw from gamershell, you could change fom first to third in the fighter jets. but i dont know about the bulldog. i'd expect you'd be able to do it, since you can do it with one. Smile

First, welcome to the forums

Second, great question, I'd definately like to see something ala-tribes where you could easily bind a key to switch between first and third person views.... That was something I really enjoyed out of the tribes series, and I think it'd make a great addition to the UT series.

It is already said somewhere that there are going to be 2 view modes (3rd person and 1st person) and that it is going to be controlled with one key.

do you know if they are fixing the problems where on some lifts you get jammed under invisible pieces of wall?

like on orbital there is an invisible jaggy on the side of the lifts in the flag room.

that must be a problem with the map... not the engine, some collision bug or sum. that might be fixxed in a patch though I never liked the new Orbital IMO

it's a bug on the lifts because those same lifts in another map have exactly the same problem.
