Well it has officially been 2 years since that dreadful day that changed a lot of lives here in the States. I would love to sit here and tell you that the country is a better place and that our president is leading us in the right direction. But alas I cannot. I can however tell you that I think changes are coming for us and those changes are good.One of the things that is coming in the future is the following memorial for those who died that day. The picture above is of the plans for the new WTC and the 9/11 memorial. One thing that I love about this design is that between 8 and 10 am the ground of the old WTC is lit up by the sun each day. I think this is very fitting tribute to those that passed away.While the overall tone of this post is somber, there are still others things that I am excited about in the future. What are these things? Well they are going to be different for you than they are me. It is up to you to figure out which things you are looking forward to. For the next 12 hours I won't be posting any news as a moment of my respectful silence for those who are gone in the name of freedom. |

You know, I've seen people saying "oh yeah, will since 911".... 2 years seemed to kinda fly by. I'm not usually one for the whole "sitting around and mourning things", but it is a day to reflect on atleast how the US has changed since then.
Some very good things have come of it, but then again, some very bad things have as well. Just goes to show you have to take the good with the bad.
Well written tycho, and nice image, I hope it sees light. |

from my point of view the US haven't changed a bit except just got more violent but that's propably me |
