First off let me start by saying sorry for missing last week. I was struck ill during the day, and just couldn't bring myself to sit at my computer to do much of anything. Chicken soup and the futon were in order for that day. Fortunately, it has passed enough that I can perform my regularly scheduled duties today. Ok, enough with the rubbish, ON TO THE SPOTLIGHT!
Ever long for those exceedingly simple games where all you had to do was sit there and move from side to side, jumping occasionally? Well so do I. So in my searchs throughout the internet, I came across a rather remarkable piece of coding genious. The piece? Icy Tower. The creator? Free Lunch Design. The cost? FREE! What more could a gamer want?
As for describing the game, I think I'll leave that (as usual) in the very capable hands of the author:
Icy Tower is a fun and short, yet addictive game where your only goal is to gain as much score as possible. This can be done in two ways. By getting as high as possible (you get points for each floor you reach) or by making combo jumps. A combo jump is a jump high enough for you to reach platforms two or three floors above you. By doing severals uninterupted combo jumps you get bonus points. The best way is of course to climb really high and make combo jumps on the way.
This game shows the amazing ability to be replayed over and over and over again by gamers of all ages. While it's graphics might invoke ideas of Gangsters and Rap Music, the game is anything but. It's a cute, inventive, and very high quality release, and I urge everyone to check this game out immediately.

you have no idea howmanty days and nights i have spent trying to get to the top of that stupid tower 
it's totally impossible!!!! |

well, i got to 123. but how do you double jump? and where is the end?  |

Slide and jump off the walls, if I remember correctly. And jump really fast for the double jump. I got somewhere in the 300's or 400's at my prime. There is no end. |

hehehe, even the older games can become a nightmare for gamers.... I've always loved this one for it's simplistic challenge |

the highest i have ever made it up is 650 +/- a few, but when i got up that far i could bairly see my guy, i was just going on impulse for the jump points |
