Morning all I am feeling a bit chipper today as the sun is shining and the coffee is great! I had to take the time to post about a new UT2004 Q and A over at GamesWeb. They had a chance to sit down with Epic's Jay Wilbur is Germany and chat a while about the game. They did ask a question that I didn't know non-Unreal fans knew about yet.
gwc:You may have heard that UnrealOps.com is planning to host an UnrealCon in 2004. Do you support them in some way or will Epic perhaps host an UnrealCon themselves like id Software with the QuakeCon?
JW: Oh, we love that stuff. The original QuakeCon were just a bunch of users who got together and actually id started to pay attention to it and now they host it. I think we will probably be involved in ours from the very beginning. I don’t know how it will work, but we certainly want to support that any way we can.Well that question came out of the blue. I am kinda of glad to see non-Unreal sites asking about the Con but that also means we need to get moving on the naming contest to avoid some confusion. |

i read it a few hours ago. but he says there is not gonna be a demo, tho in another interview (released today) cliffy says ther is gonna be a demo.
