Well one of -dp-'s many projects is now finished.  He recently had a chance to sit down with Erik Bethke of the Black 9 Team.  In it they not only talk about the game but there are a total of 12 new exclusive screenshots!  Here is a sample.The first thing you will notice is the interesting POV used in the game.  It's not really 3rd person but it's not 1st person either.  Interested?  Read the article!

I played Black 9 at E3. It FEELS like P.N.03 which was crappy, but has alot better movement and everything. Incredible game, honestly! One I can't wait for.

Although I seriously believe that going to E3 increases the number of games you want each year to roughly 500 Smile

yes. The movement is like it was in Rune. Behind the head full scale movement. My P.N. 03 was meaning the "feel" you get from behind the head in Black9 is more like the "feel" from PN03. The movement is exponentially better.

The mutliplayer was awesome. It was some sort of co-op gametype where the monsters would spawn back. It was interesting that you could see other players in the game, but they didn't play a huge role, as in you didn't have to be running alongside each other to accomplish what it was you were doing.

The levels were awesome. Let me just say that if you liked the terrain in 2k3/U2, you are going to drool over this game. The XBox/PS2/GC versions are INCREDIBLY inferior to the PC version in looks. I'm not sure if the xbox version was just thrown together to show off, but it looked VERY jaged and gross. Playing on the PC was very fulfilling. Sniping an alien in the head with that gun in the screenshot was very enjoyable, I must say...especially on the large terrain levels where they couldn't see you Smile
