Shrimp of the UnWheel team got ahold of me his weekend and let me know something really cool. First that his mod is nearing completion of Alpha 0.3, and second that they need your help with completion of a few maps. what they want is a graphic or two to fit on a billboard on the side of a few of their maps. Heres the e-mail:
UnWheel (an Unreal Tournament 2003 mod), would like to offer everyone a very unique advertising oppertunity. If you belong to a clan, run a website or a mod, or whatever else (no commercial advertising - like products or pay-forservices and things like that please), and would like to have track/arena-side advertising in UnWheel, you can send along your ad's in the form of either a 512x128 or 512x256 (or both) bitmap to unwheel@shrimpworks.za.net. The UnWheel website, including the latest downloadable version of the mod can be found at http://unwheel.strategy-x.com/He also gave me a screenie of what their trying to do, and where their going to put the billboards.
The "Horton's Unreal World"  sign is not one of the billboards, but the other two are. Smile The map looks like it's coming along well, keep up the good work. Smile Shrimp also said you can submit multiple versions and they will try to pick the best spot for them.

That map looks kickass.
I was worried about the ability of the mappers to put together a proper set of racetracks, but not anymore.
I hope they all look that good.

Also, I hope there isn't drastic frame loss, with more than 3 cars, as with UnrealSpeed Rolling Eyes
That sucks
