First off, a quick "Hello!" to everyone as this is my first day of posting at UnrealOps. Much thanks to Tycho for helping get my interview on Team Orbit up earlier, and thanks to Mario "ThunderBear" Orsini for taking the time to talk with us!
BerneyBoy writes in with news about his Photorealistic Textures Pack, which contains more than 2,000 high-resolution photo based textures free for the taking. The Photorealistic Textures Pack will increase the realism in creation of levels for virtual reality experiences. Samples are viewable on the from BerneyBoy's website.
The PhotoRealistic Texture Pack is organized into: Bricks, Concrete, Crate, Door, Floor, Frontage, Glassblock, Ground, Marble, Metal, Objects, Ornaments, Parquet, Road, Rock-stone, Roof, Sand, Terra, Tiles, Trim, Vegetal, Wall, Wallpaper, Window, and Wood.
Also included are textures designed specifically team-based game-types, such as CTF.
The new pack comes in .jpg format, so they can be used with almost any FPS on the market and ease of use and conversion into games like Half-Life, Quake 3 Arena, Unreal Tournament engine.

Phew, that almost went without a hitch. You didn’t see those URL typos, right? |

EDIT: Fix the link in your post above...your correction doesn't seem to have transferred over from the front page. |

Thanks Tye.
Yes, it’s good to see something like this available for mappers. It’s hard enough making your own textures, and things get a bit samey when recycling stock ones.
EDIT - Note to self: Make sure articles don't exist already before posting them. |

lol
also another note to self, when you make up the posts, dont put a </p> tag at the end of the ENTIRE post, it puts an extra space in between the news post and the forums link
dont worry about the ones that are up already, i took care of them as i saw them and BTY welcome aboard! |
