Ganjaman, main man behind the sci-fi mod No Mercy, sent this e-mail to me with the intent of me posting it as news... who am I to let him down?
Hey I could not find a submit button for news so i send this to you=) I made a nice trailer to show off our mod just before the deadline of the contest. The way it looks now we will release on time:) GanjamanWell, from that I figured he wanted me to visit his mod's page, and lo, it was good. Check it out here. With all these mods coming out, I'm really considering getting another job and trying to make the move to broadband. Anyone have any recommendations for an excellent provider? |

Yeah, but if it's multiplayer only, where's the appeal for 56k users? |

56K users will probably not even download big mods. And if people should think of the few people that still live in the stone-age then there is no beginning. |

I thought it looked pretty boring TDM with a few weird weapons.
There are far more interesting mods in development and/or released already.

I guess saying it is 'multiplayer' means they were too lazy to teach the bots how to play ? |

*AHEM*
I download the majority of big mods, and I am a highly competitive and if I may say so, skilled player. Just because I am unable to afford DSL or Cable at the rates it costs to drag cables out to my area (extra fees for out-of-area customers... F**K YOU, BELLSOUTH AND COMCAST!) does not mean I am "living in the stone age". And if people design mods with Voodoo card users in mind, then shouldn't they also consider 56k users? |
