FilePlanet snagged the exclusive for this one yesterday, but now it’s open for all to download. (If you have a free GameSpy account, that is.) I’m waiting in line to download it now, and should have a mirror set up within the next few hours. If you can’t wait, head over to FP — the download wait is around 30-40 minutes as I type this. |

I'm sure its not a completely horrible game... but this "PC" version reeks so badly of console-stench that it completely destroys any merit the game did possess. Its a slap in the face to PC users IMO. I'm had high hopes for this game, but I'm not going to reduce my standards just so Ion Storm can sell their product to the Xbox crowd.
So F- em, im just gonna go play System Shock again.  |

humm... I cannot understand the negative feelings here, I've played it a little and it looks cool. Deus Ex was one of the best games I have played the storyline, augmentations, cool atmosphere maps and so-on. I bought that game and happy about it. at least be positive when you try it it's one of the few SP games where you can control what you will do, cool demo, you just silly... I play!  |

I think if you absolutely loved the way the first game felt you will still enjoy this game. They toned down the difficulty (it took me about 4 days of straight playing DX1 to figure out what the eff I was supposed to be doing on the first couple levels even...) but other than that it is still an incredible game, with Real Time Shadows (tm) :p it lokos incredible it plays smoothly (almost) The only thing I was disappointed with were the sounds/voices. They all sounded like crap. It is a demo though, so what's to be expected?  |
